My name is Amy Gallagher and I'm a freelance children's illustrator and comic artist based in the UK. I have practised in the industry since 2013, working on a variety of projects and commissions. This includes providing family-friendly illustrations for CYPCS (Children & Young Peoples' Commissioner Scotland), and designing book spreads for toy/stationery company Noodoll. I'm also author and illustrator of the children's educational book "Microbes" (2017, published by Thunderstone Books), and comic artist for "Lost & Found", a project raising awareness for rediscovered species of animals and plant life. My artwork is playful, charming and whimsical. I'm inspired by challenges in everyday life, often pulling from my real-life experiences and musings. I aspire to produce approachable artwork that sparks emotional connections and engages audiences.
I am open for commissions, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
